Supported by the Department of Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Sport and Media under the 20 Year Strategy for the Irish Language 2010 – 2030.About the artistOne Strong Arm is the letterpress print studio run by artist, printer and designer Dave Darcy. Dave creates contemporary typography-led work using traditional methods. This usually involves the studio’s ever-growing collection of antique wood and metal type, combined with some more modern techniques and processes. Much of OSA’s work comes in the form of self-initiated projects. We also work closely with designers, artists, agencies, writers, musicians, illustrators, collaborators, experimenters and co-conspirators to create thoughtfully produced work of all kinds.
