Irish Proverb: Ar scáth a chéile a mhaireann na daoine One of the great Irish language proverbs whose literal meaning is ‘it is in each others’ shadow that people live’ but on reflection invokes a sense of community. Commissioned by St. Patrick's Festival in partnership with Hen's Teeth. Supported by the Department of Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Sport and Media under the 20 Year Strategy for the Irish Language 2010 – 2030. About the artistKeelin Coyle is an Irish independent creative who designs, art directs and writes. She works with Irish and international teams to develop identities, campaigns and digital products, for clients from a range of industries. In recent years; she also speaks, judges and collaborates as part of the design community— at Offset Design Festival, ICAD Awards, Limerick School of Art and Design, or with 100 Archive. Currently living in Dublin, her conceptual, yet functional, visual work is created via her own practice.
