About the ArtistNatalie Winterlich is a multi-disciplined designer and artist, who works in graphic design, brand and content creation and is currently developing illustrated portraits and art pieces. The St. Patrick's Festival theme of Dúisigh Eire!/Awaken Ireland got me thinking about a collective awakening of the nation's consciousness and the changes that we have seen socially in the past decade through marriage equality, Repeal and how the pandemic has opened many people’s lives to a different way of living, a better work/life balance.  The woman in my illustration represents Ireland and my model is Maeve Brennan, an Irish writer who has only recently been talked about and recognised in her home country.
