Further enhancing this, the Journey Mid GTX has a GORE-TEX lining which makes them waterproof and keeps your feet dry in all circumstances. Meindl believes that comfort is of utmost priority, and so the Comfort-Fit range was introduced to do just that. With a wider fit at the front of the shoe, this provides more room for movement, particularly in the flex zone, whilst ensuring a snug, supportive hold of the heel.
