Included in Penguin Parade 3 is Sisters, a story by Stella Gibbons (1902 – 1989), the English author still remembered for her first novel, Cold Comfort Farm (1932).
Brian Seymour Vesey-Fitzgerald (1905-1981), who wrote Blessed Above Women in this collection, was a well-known writer of books on wildlife; he was also an acknowledged authority on gypsies and President of the British Fairground Society.
