Fintan is believed to have survived the Great Biblical Flood by hiding in a cave on Tountinna and he lived for a further 5,500 years, turning into an eagle and then a hawk and back to a human during his life. He was an advisor to the Kings of Ireland and he became the repository for all the knowledge and history of Ireland before he died. With the help artist Emer McKeon, they have interpreted what he may have looked like living up on top of Tountinna (maybe about 3000 years into his life)
