Tales for Tadpoles
When a little boy and his Grandad find a poorly bird on their windowsill they decide to nurse it back to health. When it gets better they try to put it back outside but every time it hops right back inside. The bird turns up wherever the little boy goes, so he asks his grandad if he can keep it. But Grandad says the bird will be happier being free in its natural habitat. Together, the three of them set out on an expedition to find the place where the bird will be happiest.
Filled with warmth and humour, this delightful story is the first installment of a new quartet of books about the natural world by the highly-acclaimed Sam Usher.
