The house portrayed in the label shows his shop in the countryside of Alba. Italian classics such as Gavi and Barbera have been around for many a year, but the advent and uptake of modern winemaking techniques by producers such as Riva Leone is bringing these great wines to the attention of a whole new audience. Produced and bottled in a state of the art winery in Priocco, Riva Leone is a fantastic example of modern Italian winemaking at its best. Tasting Notes full-bodied, well-balanced and it has a very persistent finish and complex bouquet with enticing hints of red fruit.
