Basic Sweater My Size Pattern | CaMaRose
€6.50
This Is Knit
Useful information: The pattern can be knit with 3 different gauges. To ensure that your sweater will come out with the right fit, it is therefore recommended to knit a swatch before casting on.
This sweater has a bit of positive ease. Measure the widest point of your chest and add 10 cm to find your size. When you know both your gauge and your bust circumference plus 10 cm, choose which size to knit.
Finished bust circumference with a gauge of 14 sts: 100 (103) 106 (108) 111 (114) 117 (120) cm.
Finished bust circumference with a gauge of 15 sts: 93 (96) 99 (101) 104 (107) 109 (112) cm.
Finished bust circumference with a gauge of 16 sts: 87.5 (90) 92 (95) 97 (100) 102 (105) cm. Body length: approx. 41 cm (all sizes).
Sleeve length: 44 cm (all sizes). You will need:
Suggested needles: 6 mm circular needles (40, 60, and 80 cm) and 6 mm double-pointed needles – or you can work the sleeves using magic loop.
You also need stitch holders or scrap yarn (to hold sleeve stitches) and a tapestry needle to weave in ends.
Furthermore, a row counter is recommended to keep track of the rounds plus 3 markers, or 4 markers if you are not using a row counter.
NOTE: Needle sizes are only intended as a guide.
It is always recommended to swatch before casting on to ensure that you are using the right needles for the desired gauge.
Yarn requirement for a gauge of 14 sts: 7 (7) 8 (8) 8 (9) 9 (9) skeins of the main color and 1 skein in a contrasting color (all sizes).
Yarn requirement for a gauge of 15 sts: 6 (7) 7 (8) 8 (8) 9 (9) skeins of the main color and 1 skein in a contrasting color (all sizes).
Yarn requirement for a gauge of 16 sts: 6 (6) 7 (7) 8 (8) 8 (8) skeins of the main color and 1 skein in a contrasting color (all sizes).
Yarn: Snefnug from CaMaRose.dk.
Info: The sweater is worked top down on circular needles with short row neck shaping to give it a better fit. As you go, change to a longer circular needle when necessary. The sleeves are worked on double pointed needles, a long circular for magic loop technique, or a circular needle for a small circumference.
