Arrowwood Mohawk Attractive, adaptable and with a long season of interest, Viburnum x burkwoodii Mohawk is a large, semi-evergreen to deciduous shrub with a compact, rounded, bushy habit. The glossy, deep green, elliptical leaves are felted white on their undersides, and turn shades of red, orange and yellow in autumn. In spring, deep pink buds appear for a long time before opening to clusters of pink-edged white flowers with a gorgeous, strong, spicy fragrance. These are followed by red berries which gradually turn black in autumn. With its stunning fragrance and neat habit, this is a good shrub for planting near gates and doorways.
