The Muiredach cross stands in Monisterboice in Co. Louth Ireland. It is one of the finest remaining High Crosses in Ireland. We are showing the two sides of the cross here. It is in Keeping with The Cross of the Scriptures in Clonmacnoise and The Celtic Cross of Clonard and The Durrow Cross in Durrow, Co Offaly, all of which date back to the 9th and 10 th centaury
