A snapshot of nature, frozen in time, these Victorian-style pressed flower frames are beautiful modern heirlooms. Each piece is a one-off, handmade with fresh flowers gathered along the banks of the Grand Canal, the foot of Celbridge’s Wonderful Barn and leafy Lucan Demesne, close to where I grew up. Picked in full bloom, each flower is carefully pressed for two weeks to preserve its delicate character. Arranged between 2 sheets of glass, the flowers seem to float in their frames, pure and timeless. Sealed with solder, I bring a raw beauty to each unique piece. Each frame features real flowers whose colour will fade over time, so it is best to keep them out of direct sunlight. Comes in a copper finish.
