Dancing Days is a family drama written by Glaswegian journalist John Joy Bell (1871 – 1934) which was made into an early Hollywood film in 1926. It is a light-hearted novel featuring Glasgow working-class characters and tells the story of a   married man who becomes involved with a gold-digger. A love triangle develops, as his wife refuses to let him go without a struggle. With his use of vernacular speech and comic depictions of Glasgow life, Bell was extremely popular in the early 20th Century, and several of his works made it to the big screen. Published by Hodder and Stoughton, 1910. Hardcover. The book is in reasonable condition, with the binding intact. The back cover has some wear-and-and tear marks, but they do not diminish the volume.
