Nicolas Cage stars in this thriller directed by Tim Hunter. After his daughter is killed in an accident, Ray (Cage) and his wife Maggie (Robin Tunney) attempt to move on by buying a motel in the remote desert. Left with a number of unanswered questions due to the previous owner's sudden disappearance, Ray soon discovers a secret passageway which allows him to see into one of the rooms through a two-way mirror. However, things soon take a turn for the worse when a woman is found murdered, leaving the local sheriff to suspect Ray might have something to do with it.
