MELANIE HAND: JEWELLERY DESIGNER Melanie previously worked in the fashion business as a designer and dressmaker. She has since worked 20 years as a jewellery designer and manufacturer and subsequently took over the long running family business in 1999. From her studio in County Dublin she makes a range of handcrafted jewellery and has trained in the use of Clay Silver, Glass Bead making and Glass Fusing.  Selection of delicate costume jewellery with a mixture of beads collected worldwide, including Swarovski crystal and Murano glass and with the benefit of surgery for basal cell and squamous cell carcinoma detected early after many years attending a skin clinic for skin mapping.
