The first adventure for animator Nick Park's eccentric characters, inventor Wallace (voice of Peter Sallis) and his faithful dog, Gromit. Wallace runs out of his favourite Wensleydale cheese on a bank holiday and is unable to find a shop open to replenish his stock. The only solution is to get in his man-made rocket, and head for the biggest block of cheese in the universe - the moon.
