The Claddagh design is steeped in history and tradition. The hands, heart and crown have long symbolised friendship (cairdeas), love (grá) and loyalty (dílseacht). The pendant measures 22cm across and 26mm down including the bail (where the chain goes through).The pendant comes with an 18 inch sterling silver chain as standard. Each piece from the Claddagh range is crafted from Sterling Silver with love for Irish roots, history and folklore and is hallmarked in the Assay Office at Dublin Castle. Each piece comes with a story card explaining the meaning  behind the design.
