Every piece of my jewellery is entirely handmade in Ireland, in our workshop, Kerry Way Studio.This beautiful, little silver cross is made with fine silver and decorated with vitreous enamel called Minankari.It is hanged on 50cm sterling silver chain.The Minankari, also known as Cloisonné or Vitreous Enamel is an intricate and laborious, ancient jewellers technique.The enamel becomes the final artwork after several firing operations in a special kiln and then, time-consuming polishing, demanding high level of an expertise.The finished piece is unique and it is almost impossible to find two identical ornaments.
