Natural Edged Burr Crab Apple Bowl

This is a bowl made from the wood of a Crab Apple Tree. The burr is a gnarly growth seen on the side of some trees. The bowl has been turned to maintain the trees outside edge and to enhance the natural and unusual grain of the burr. It is finished with Danish Oil which is safe for use with food. The dimensions are approximately 18cm wide x 16 cm high or 7" x 6".
