A stunning edition of the iconic Lewis Carroll book, illustrated by Moomins creator Tove Jansson. Jansson was commissioned to illustrate a Swedish translation of Alice in Wonderland in 1966, and over fourty years later her interpretation of the work is finally available to an English speaking audience. This project gave Jansson the opportunity to try out a new illustration style, but her work here still carries her hallmark surreality, strength of gesture and vivid colouring.
