Jerry Pinkney: The Lion and The Mouse (Second Hand)
€4.00

Tales for Tadpoles
A book without words, based on the Aesop's fable about a mouse who helps a lion escape a trap when he remembers an earlier kindness the lion showed him. Rendered in watercolour and pencil, Pinkney's illustrations for this book won him the Caldecott medal in 2010. This book is perfect for young children as the full page illustrations will draw their eye, and the well-paced retelling of the moral fable will keep their attention. Although it can also be appreciated by adults for its sophisticated artistry.
Please note this is a second hand book.
