This class is designed for those people who want to introduce some new ideas, new inspiration and new flavours to their weekly cooking. We are all taught that planning is everything when it comes to midweek meals but this class will focus on how to put that matra into practice. We bring everyone back to the basics of good flavour and show you how to inject variation texture and colour into your recipes with new ingredients that you might not have cooked with before. So whether you are cooking for one, two or for a growing family, this is the class to equip you with a new found creativity when it comes to your meal planning. The price includes full tastings of six dishes, your recipe packs and a glass of prosecco to kick off proceedings. Please arrive hungry! About your host Ruth Wassel is one of our Triggerfish resident cooks. She spent 10 years living and cooking in Naples, Italy. She was a tutor at the Ballymaloe Cook School for two years and is passionate about cooking with the best of Irish ingredients. She has written for Food and Wine Magazine and has done cookery demonstrations all over Ireland for Gaggenau, Neff, Siemens and KitchenAid. She cooks for Bora in Ireland and London and does regular demos for the diabetic centre in St James hospital.
