Collection of comedies starring Stan Laurel and Oliver Hardy. In 'Block-Heads' (1938) Stan is left to guard a trench during WWI only to be discovered still at his post, 20 years after the war has finished. In 'Our Relations' (1936) confusion arises between Stan and Ollie and their identical twins, Alf and Bert, when they arrive back in town on shore leave with an extremely expensive pearl ring in their possession. In 'Pardon Us' (1931) Stan and Ollie are sent to prison for breaking Prohibition laws and attempt an escape with a hardened prisoner. In 'Sons of the Desert' (1933), in order for Stan and Ollie to travel to a fraternity convention in Chicago, which their wives have no interest in attending, Ollie feigns a disease which can only be cured by a long sea voyage. Finally, in 'Way Out West' (1937) Stan and Ollie find themselves in another fine mess when they bungle the delivery of a gold mine deed.
