The Dearg Line Aran handknit is knit in a black merino tweed pure wool with a chilli red contrast inside the neckline and pockets. Featuring a relaxed fit drop shoulder and wider sleeve with fitted cuff. Here I've taken some of the most traditional Donegal stitches like the honeycomb and diamond straight from my granny Margarets notebook. I've reworked the sleeve with a blackberry stitch centre because I love blackberry stitch and it cannot be made by machines. The black is a for the more experienced knitter to make but we all knit with our eyes closed anyways!
