Country: New Zealand Region: Marlborough Varietal: Riesling Vintage: 2018 Colour: White Style: Dry Producer: Lawson's Dry Hills Vineyards and viticulture : This is a single vineyard wine from our Waihopai Vineyard. The vines are cane-pruned, cropped at a moderate level and were lightly leaf-plucked. The fruit condition at harvest was very good and the flavours were concentrated. Winemaking: After gently pressing (the skins are discarded) the juice is fermented at low temperatures with a cultured yeast. The fermentation is stopped when we feel the sugar/acid balance to be perfect. Post fermentation, the wine is left to rest on lees for several months before being bottled here at the winery Tasting Note:Lime zest, orange blossom and subtle notes of white peach and honey result in an attractive, aromatic nose. The palate is crisp and dry with mouth-watering acidity and wonderful balance. Food Matches: Seafood / Fish
