Laphroaig 25 Year Old is a wonderful marriage of sherried, oaky flavours from European Oloroso Sherry Casks and the soft, velvet, rich flavours from the ex-American oak Bourbon Barrels.  This is a well-aged release of the incredibly popular heavily-peated single malt from Islay. Laphroaig aged for quarter of a century and bottled, without chill filtration.  Tasting Notes  Nose Sherry sweetness, followed by the time-honoured Islay peat tang. A smooth fruit ripeness that complements the tang of salt in the background. Palate An initial burst of peat restrained by a sherry sweetness that develops into spicy apple fruitiness.
