Remy Martin 1738 Accord Royal
€86.00
Wine Online
The connoisseur's choice: aged in toasted oak barrels, it is the embodiment of traditional craftsmanship.
A Cognac that celebrates the Louis XV's decision to grant a young Rémy Martin the right to plant new vines on his land (banned in France at the time) with the Accord Royal in 1738. Behind its regal appearance lie mellow and rich flavors that are smooth and well-balanced on the palate. This is an authentic cognac, deeply rooted in the terroir and tradition once honored by the French king himself
Founded in the early 1700s, Rémy Martin has grown to be one of the biggest Cognac houses in France. What sets it apart is its insistence on only using eaux-de-vie from grapes grown exclusively in the top two Cognac regions: Grande Champagne and Petite Champagne.
Tasting Note
Nose Generous notes of plum and fig marmalade rounded out by intense oaky notes of toffee and toasted bread.
Palate The mellowness of butterscotch and baked spices with hints of dark chocolate.
Finish Exceptionally round with a creamy aftertaste and a concentration of nutty aromas imparted by a careful blend of eaux-de-vie aged in toasted French oak casks.
1x 70cl bottle in presentation box
