Even darker on the nose than the Uco Valley Malbec, offering scents of blueberry, licorice and violet accented by white pepper, tobacco and spices. Distinctly savory in the mouth but a bit of aeration brings lovely sweetness and generosity of texture. Quite deep but still primary and youthful. Finishes with sneaky building length. This is a bit fresher and more vertical than the Valle de Uco Malbec, which is sweeter and broader, with more velvety tannins. It has an intense spicy aroma of pepper, cloves, cinnamon and other spices, combined with ripe black fruits and hints of roses. The palate is smooth with firm and chewy tannins."
