Di Camillo Vini are an excellent producer whom we have been sourcing wines for 20+ years. Their winery is based in the hills of Poggiofiorito on the Italian Coast, in the Abruzzo region.  Celebrate all that is wonderful about Italy, with native wines that are based entirely on celebrating naturally grown grapes from the region. The winery is ran by a father and daughter combination of Paolo and Sara di Camillo. Passerina is a native white wine grape. It is crisp and fresh with a wonderful sicilian lemon like flavour on the palette. It is a wonderful vibrant white wine.  Merlot from Terre Di Chieti is the flagship grape produced by Di Camillo. Merlot thrives in this part of Italy for its hjuicy plump freshness. This wine is complex, medium bodied and wonderfully produced. It is a premium estate wine and the flagship wine of the estate.  Di Camillo produce Extra Virgin Olive Oil from the same estate in Poggiofiorito, in a very small scale. The quality of this Olive oil is something to behold. Italian Extra Virgin Olive Oils are a real delicacy to be used for serving rather than cooking. Most producers produce so little and it is so expensive that many of them use their Olive Oil to gift their friends and family.
