Maharani gin is zested with pomelo, and uniquely spiced with cassia and nutmeg mace, all sourced from an organic farming co-operative in Kerala, India. In certain conditions Maharani has a natural haze due to the organic oils of the botanicals, in particular, nutmeg mace, which can become opaque in cold temperatures. To ensure the vibrant taste of our gin we choose not to chill filter out these oils at the final stage of production and retain all the aromatics of the botanicals. Produced by Rebel City Distillery, which is located in the old Ford building in the docklands of Cork City and is the first distillery in Cork City in over 50 years. Tasting Note: Nose Citrus elements of pomelo with notes of cardamon and cassia. Palate Creamy mouthfeel with spice nutmeg mac, sweetness of cassia and subdued elements of juniper with citrus of coriander and lemon. Finish Long dry finish with small hit of nutmeg mace spice.
