Country: New Zealand Region: Marlborough Varietal:  100% Sauvignon Blanc Vintage: 2018 Colour: White Style:Dry Producer: Mamaku Blue Estate The idea of planting vines in this farm was conceptualised by owners, Harry & Anne Frost, only during 1988.  After a few years, they set up the first and only winery in the city of Rotorua City and called the winery, Mamaku Blue.  Philip introduced new harvesting methods in the farm, which not only improved the quantity of blueberry production but also the quality of the fruits. In the year 2006, the farm underwent a change in its name. It was no longer just a blueberry farm; it came to be addressed as the Mamaku Blue Winery. Tasting Notes This classic New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc displays passion fruit aromas and ripe tropical fruit on the nose. The citrus, gooseberry flavours follow through with vibrant acidity and a clean finish.
