This is the debut wine of their second label, made from some younger vines along with some fruit that goes into their flagship growth wine. Two thirds Cabernet, a good whack of Merlot and a couple of dashes of Verdot and France. Bordeaux may not be cool, but done  well it sure is delicious. They picked a great year to launch this wine as 2015 was stellar. Vinous history!  Tasting Note: The nose offers ripe blackberry and toasty spice with a touch of minerality. This vintage is Cabernet Sauvignon based, which lends a firm backbone, quality tannins, and a core of blackberry fruit. This wine is surprisingly accessible now and drinking well, but will improve with a year in the bottle. Food Matches: Red Meat / Venison / Soft Cheese / Venison
