Following vinification the wine is then aged in 50% American and 50% French oak barrels for 12 months before it is ready for bottling. Tasting Notes: On the nose there are enticing notes of cassis, crushed dark cherries, and baking spice, while the first sip reveals a full body, well-developed structure, and smooth tannins.
