Maidenhair Tree Princeton Sentry
Gingko biloba is known as a living fossil having existed over 160 million years ago. Its foliage is deciduous and has fan-like leaves. The Autumnal foliage takes on gold and bronze colours. The named variety, Princeton Sentry has slow to moderate growth, with a narrow, conical habit when young but maturing to a pyramidal tree. It makes an ideal specimen plant, including a street tree. This male clone doesn’t produce the normal smelly fruit. It is particularly useful in polluted, industrial areas and cold exposed sites.
