A pair of hallmarked solid sterling silver drop earrings shaped like a countersink drill bits. Mechanically inspired, these earrings have a feminine edge with the countersink point giving the illusion of an upside down rosette. The earrings dangle from 5mm rings on secure lever back ear wires and are fully plated in shiny black rhodium. From the Mechanical collection. Also available in sterling silver and as stud earrings. Black Rhodium is from the Platinum family of precious metals. It gives a shiny transparent  black veil to the silver resulting in a cool, gun-metal grey colour. As with all plating it will gradually fade with wear.
