Agapanthus Enigma
A new bicoloured agapanthus or African lily cultivar, Agapanthus Enigma is a herbaceous perennial with a clump-forming habit. The arching, strap-shaped leaves are deep green, forming a basal clump. In July and August, tall stems rise above the clump bearing rounded umbels of tubular flowers, white with a very faint, pale blue tinge, stronger blue at the base. The flowers are attractive to pollinators. Agapanthus Enigma is hardy in most gardens, but should be given a deep mulch in very cold areas. Very good in containers.
