Direct casts were made of the sand ripples, no two pieces are ever alike. These casts capture the sensation of the beach and not just the pictorial narrative, creating a tactile experience - slices of the Irish coastline. Feeling this tactile experience as one walks down the beach barefoot is a fundamnetal element of this environment, one that speaks of movement, change, time and cycles.
