Wild Atlantic Wood Teak Soap Dish

Strelitzias profile image
Each soap dish has been handcrafted from a solid piece of teak wood called iroko. This wood comes from sustainable forestry. Teak, iroko, is an excellent wood for use as a soap dish as it has a natural resistance to water and rot decay due to the natural oils present in the wood. These soap dishes were designed and handmade in West Cork. Water is allowed to drain from the soap dish by wide grooves which have been carefully cut into the wood on the top and the bottom to form lots of drainage holes. The soap dish is then sanded smooth and finished with danish oil. The soap dishes have been designed to allow water to drain freely away allowing your soap to dry better and last longer. Because wood is a natural material each dish has its own unique colour. Measurements approx: Metric 11.5cm long by 7.5cm wide and 1.8cm tall Inches 4 1/2 inches long by 2 1/4 inches wide and 3/4 inch tall
