A few years ago I came across an exhibition "Forests Underwater"  by renowned aquascaper Takashi Amano It was absolutely beautiful and with the piece of classical music specially composed playing in the background it really felt like I was floating in the water amongst the fish and the plants. This is how I try to paint these beautiful creatures with an ethereal feel, floating lightly, time slowly passing as the world goes round.
