Each Kokí is hand made to order, by Stephanie, using a unique method that has been researched and developed here in Kildare, Ireland.  The rootball of your Kokí is 15cm diameter approx. This Pilea Kokí can be displayed hanging or sitting on a stand. Macramé Hangers sold separately.  Pilea peperomioides, the Chinese money plant, also known as the missionary plant, lefse plant, pancake plant, UFO plant, or just Pilea is originally from the southwestern Yunnan province of China.     Light-wise, the best situation for a Chinese money plant is bright light, with no direct sunlight. Direct sun scorches leaves, and light shade may encourage larger leaves. To keep your Chinese money plant nicely shaped, rotate it at least once a week to prevent it from getting lopsided.  When your Kokí is light and not hard give it a good soaking, as per Kokí Care instructions. Watering depends on room temperature & humidity so it is best to judge watering by the weight of the Kokí. The soil needs to mostly dry out between waterings, with more watering required in warmer weather.  The large leaves tend to accumulate dust so these plants benefit from regular showers, or at least wiping down of their leaves. Temperature averages 15 C and 27C. Please note that the plant pictured is only an example of the Kokí and you will receive one freshly made to order. All plants are different from each other, so please expect it to look similar but not the same. Our plants are rigorously checked by Stephanie for signs of disease and pests before creating your Kokí.
